The Rehabilitation Practice Analysis Training Group: A teaching innovation for the professional training of physiotherapy students

Abstract

The reform of physiotherapy studies has been underway since September 2015. Innovative educational measures need to be set up. The trend toward a more “academic” approach requires a reconceptualization of professional training, by developing skills, sandwich courses and assessment tools. In this context, the Rehabilitation Practice Analysis Training Group was designed. The skills-based approach requires rethinking in teaching practices. Simulation in training opens up promising prospects.
