Abstract

Thre e s pe c ie s of e ndos ymbiotic dinoflage llate s , zooxanthe llae , are inve s - tigated from s ix hos t s pe c ie s of anthozoans from Ko rea. Thre e unre co rded e ndos ymbio nts s pe c ie s are Symbiodinium kawag utii, Symbiodinium mic ro- adriaticum, and Symbiodinium s p. Symbiodinium kawag utii is as s oc iated with Alveop ora jap onica, Anthop leura jap onica and Paras icyonis ac tino- s toloides . Symbiodinium mic roadiraticum is fo und in Anthop leura kurogane and Paras icyonis s p. Unlike the fo rme r two s ymbio nts , Symbiodinium s p. is as s oc iated with Anthop leura midori.
