Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the school principals' crisis management skills according to their perceptions of teachers in terms of various variables. The research was carried out by using the scanning model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. Data in this quantitative research is gathered by Crisis Management Skills of School Administrators Scale. The sample of the study included 331 teachers working in schools in Eyüpsultan and Pendik districts of İstanbul province during 2018-2019 academic term. According to the findings obtained, the school administrators' crisis management skill levels did not differ significantly according to the gender, education level and career stages of the participants; however, it was determined that differed according to the level of the school the participants worked in and the time they worked with the principal.
