Abstract

Toona sinensis Eureme Eurema Salah satu tumbuhan yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai bahan insektisida nabati adalah genus (suren). Tujuan penelitian ini, menguji bioaktivitas tiga fraksinasi (Methanol, n-heksan dan etyl asetat) terhadap mortalitas larva spp., menentukan konsentrasi dan lethal concentration (LC). Uji hayati dilakukan dengan metode kontak pada larva spp., konsentrasi yang digunakan 0, 1,3, 5, 7, dan 10 % (w/v) diulang 5 kali dengan 10 larva instar dua yang digunakan. Data kematian dari serangga uji sampai pada hari ketiga, diolah dengan Analisis Probit menggunakan Program Polo Plus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mortalitas tertinggi pada 1 HSP mencapai 58% untuk konsentrasi 1% pada perlakuan fraksi etyl asetat, sedangkan fraksi methanol dan n-heksan hanya sebesar 28% dan 26%. Pada konsentrasi yang lebih tinggi, mortalitas dapat mencapai 84% untuk fraksi etyl asetat, fraksi methanol dan n-heksan mortalitas mencapai 56% dan 54%. Nilai LC fraksi etyl asetat 0,051 dengan SK (Selang Kepercayaan) 95% (0,35-1,18%), fraksi n-heksan LC 1,068 dengan SK (Selang Kepercayaan) 95% (1,38-4,42%) dan fraksi methanol LC 3,507 dengan SK (Selang Kepercayaan) 95% (1,64-5,9%). Perlakuan fraksi etyl asetat paling toksik/efektif dibanding fraksi yang lain. ABSTRACT Keywords: Fractions, mortality, suren seeds, leafpest, Eurema spp. Eurema One of the vegetation species that can be developed as source of bioinsecticide is (Suren). This research aims at testing bioactivity influence of three fractions from suren seed extracts on mortality of spp. The solvents used for fractionation of the extracts were methanol, n-hexane and ethyl acetate. The concentrations of fractions used in this experiment were 0, 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10% (w/v) with 5 replications and 10 larvaes of second instars for each treatment. The data of larvae mortality that obtained after three days were analysed by means of probit method and polo plus programmes. The results showed that the highest level of larvae mortality of spp. is 58% for the lowest concentration, 1% of ethyl acetat efraction at one day after treatment. Methanol and n-hexane fractions showed mortality of 28% and 26% respectively. At higher concentration, the mortality reached 84% for fraction of ethyl acetate of 10%, whereas methanol and n-hexane fraction showed 56% and 58% respectively at one day after treatment. The Lc value of ethyl acetate fraction was 0,051 with 95% confidence intervals between 0,35 and 1,18%, while the Lc value of n-hexane fraction was 1,068 with 95% confidence interval between 1,38 and 4,42%, and the value forfraction methanol Lc was 3,507 with 95% confidance intervals between 1,64 and 5,9%.
