Abstract

In the following paper, we present results obtained from archaeological excavations of the site LV099-B "Fundo Agua Amarilla", this site is located in the Agua Amarilla sector of Los Vilos county. The analysis of recovered materials in addition to the contextualization of the site through information obtained from previous investigations in the area, new results from other sectors of the Choapa coast, and the proposals outlined for the inner territories of this region, allow a deeper discussion of Inca period occupations in the Los Vilos area and their relations with the social and historical processes involved in this epoch of the local prehispanic history.
