Abstract
The labor market in Colombia has been categorized as poorly functioning according to macroeconomic concepts and an indicator of this is labor informality. The working conditions of informal work in turn cause a significant impact on the physical, emotional and mental spheres of informal workers, producing alterations in the quality of life. Therefore, the objective was to identify informal work and the working conditions of Colombians carried out through a systematic review of a qualitative approach, where 50 articles indexed with the Scopus or Publindex database were analyzed, these were recorded in an analysis matrix., applying a categorization for subsequent analysis, in which responses emerged to fulfill the objective. Finally, it is possible to establish as a result, there being a direct relationship between the conditions of the labor market with informality, in turn generating health complications in informal workers due to the low conditions typical of such jobs without guarantees.
