Abstract

The stability constant of the magnesium‐ion complex of isocitrate has been measured by spectrophotometric and fluorimetric titrations of 8‐hydroxyquinoline with magnesium chloride in the presence and absence of isocitrate. Values of 195 ± 15M−1 at 19 °C, and 25°C, and 217 ± 10M−1 at 37°C were obtained at pH 7.0 and ionic strengh 0.15. Copyright © 1971, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
