Abstract

Nurses, as the largest group of healthcare providers, should have a good standard of working life to provide their patients with quality treatment. Therefore, it is crucial to prioritize the working life of nurses. Work-life quality (WLQ) is a dynamic concept that is influenced by various aspects of work and personal life, and it interacts with them. Brooks argued that Quality of Work Life (QWL) has two goals: to increase the consistency of employees' work experience while simultaneously enhancing the organization's overall profitability. From a nursing perspective, Brooks defined QWL as "the degree to which registered nurses are able to satisfy important personal needs through their experiences in their work organization while achieving the organization’s goals." Therefore, the concept of employee satisfaction extends beyond merely having a job and a wage. It entails providing employees with a workplace where they feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
