Abstract

One of the obligations of Muslims towards other Muslims is to take care of the corpse. The ability and knowledge of Muslims in caring for bodies, from washing, shrouding, praying to burying, is essential, considering that humanity has certainty, namely death. Efforts to treat corpses are crucial and must be understood by the community. This community service activity aims to train the Family Welfare Development Group (PKK) in organizing funeral skills. Participants in this activity were 22 people who were all female and were members of the community of Sidomulyo Village, Sawahan District, Madiun Regency. Method of implementation through lectures and practice. The stages of implementing activities are the preparation stage, the implementation stage, the mentoring stage, and the evaluation stage. The action results show participants' usefulness and further understanding in caring for corpses, including bathing, shrouding, and praying. Training activities for handling corpses can make PKK groups volunteers ready to care for corpses at any time.
