Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based Air Quality Monitoring System that provides real-time monitoring of environmental parameters such as air quality, temperature, and humidity. The system integrates an ESP8266 microcontroller with MQ135 and DHT11 sensors to collect data on pollutants and environmental conditions. The collected data is processed and displayed locally using an LCD display, while real-time monitoring and control are enabled remotely through the Blynk application via Wi-Fi connectivity. The system is designed to provide accurate and timely information about air quality levels, helping to detect hazardous conditions and notify users through alerts. Calibration techniques are employed to enhance sensor accuracy and minimize environmental interference. The system supports data analysis and logging for long-term monitoring and trend identification. The use of low-power components ensures energy efficiency, while the modular design allows for scalability and future enhancements. The system's ability to provide real-time insights helps users make proactive decisions to mitigate pollution exposure. The integration of cloud-based data storage ensures easy access and analysis of historical data. This comprehensive solution enhances public health and safety by enabling better air quality management.
