Abstract

The curriculum of the first year of the primary education teaching degree includes the compulsory subject Didactics of Music, from which it is intended that future teachers will acquire the necessary knowledge to use music in their classrooms. This research proposes a didactic intervention with a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and creative approach focused on sound (SBM) with students of the primary education teaching degree at a Spanish university. This article aimed to analyze the competencies developed by future generalist teachers based on the aforementioned approach. Personal documents were used for data collection and seven discussion groups were held with students. The results of the data analysis have allowed us to glimpse the creative and musical potential of the projects carried out by the students and future teachers. Furthermore, learning from collaborative projects not only has academic consequences but also personal growth and the transfer of the approach as future teachers.
