Abstract

Introduction Vitamin D sufficiency is associated with a variety of human health benefits , while vitamin D deficiency has been identified as a potential risk factor for several health-related issues, including oral cancer. The goal of this critical review was to assess the research , epidemiologic evidence and mechanisms through which vitamin D may influence oral cancer risk or progression.
