PELAN STRATEGIK PENGUPAYAAN PERANAN INSTITUSI MASJID SEBAGAI PUSAT TUMPUAN KOMUNITI

Abstract

Mosque is a gathering centre among communities. The role of mosque institutions can be strengthened through a variety of activities and programs for the local community. This article aims to present a strategic plan to enable the role of    the mosque institution as a community stop centre. This study is in the form of development design implemented through two phases namely the needs analysis and formation phase. The findings of the study resulted in seven (7) strategic plans in empowering the role of mosque institutions as community stop centre.Masjid merupakan tempat pertemuan dalam sesebuah komuniti. Peranan institusi masjid boleh diperkasakan menerusi kepelbagaian aktiviti dan program untuk komuniti setempat. Artikel ini bertujuan mengemukakan pelan strategik mengupayakan peranan institusi masjid sebagai pusat tumpuan komuniti. Kajian ini berbentuk kualitatif mengguna pakai reka bentuk pembangunan yang dilaksanakan menerusi dua daripada tiga fasa dalam kajian pembangunan iaitu analisis keperluan dan pembentukan pelan. Dapatan kajian menghasilkan tujuh (7) pelan strategik dalam pengupayaan peranan institusi masjid sebagai pusat tumpuan komuniti.
