Abstract

Propeller lift characteristics are the most important parameter affecting the performance of multi-rotor UAVs. In this paper, the propellers of three airfoils, RAF 6, CLARK Y, and E214, are modeled in three dimensions. The flow field simulation analysis of the three models is carried out using FLUENT. After the simulation, it is found that the lift of CLARK Y is about 1100 N, which is the best effect, but there are problems, such as excess lift. Therefore, the wing shape of CLARK Y is optimized, and the lift force is about 700 N after optimization, which can meet the practical application requirements. It can provide some reference to the practical engineering application of UAVs.
