Abstract
The Indonesian cement industry is navigating significant challenges driven by intense competition and stringent carbon emission reduction policies, necessitating a shift toward sustainable production practice. This study addresses the critical issue of maintaining product quality while implementing sustainable initiatives, such as optimizing clinker usage and incorporating alternative raw materials. To achieve this, a robust product quality management evaluation model was developed for the entire production process from raw materials to final products. Using the Fuzzy Delphi method, 58 quality indicators were identified, reflecting critical aspects of the production process. The weightage of each indicator was calculated using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method. The result shows that the proposed model able to facilitates effective monitoring and management of product quality at each production stage, supporting the industry's carbon reduction initiatives without compromising product quality. The study's result shows that integrating this evaluation model can enhance sustainability-focused decision-making, improve production efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable cement industry in Indonesia.
