Sistem Klasifikasi Jenis Kendaraan Melalui Teknik Olah Citra Digital

Abstract

One of the government's effort to reduce congestion is to establish special channels that can only be passed by two-wheeled vehicle, four or more, there is also a policy of special times that must be obeyed by motorists big trucks, trailer trucks, buses and other large. But what happens on the field, many violations that originated from motorists ignorance about the rules and other reasons. For example, in the newly operated toll on the island of Bali, many bikers are very often breach the entrance to the toll road, for it takes a motor vehicle classification system that can be used to mark the motorists who drive are not in place. This study discusses the planning and construction of the system for the classification of types of vehicles by size. Digital image processing techniques supported by Java and frameworks CV (Computer Vision) for processing the digital image data. The data used is data captured by the video camera recordings, can be through CCTV cameras and regular digital cameras. Moving image or video data is processed through the system to be built, where the initial process is the process of taking a frame of video, so we get an image sequence. After the process is done edge detection that will ultimately obtained can be classified vehicle size and type of the vehicle.
