Abstract

The Solifuga collected during the shore programmes belong to the families Solpugidae and Daesiidae. The present paper deals with the Solpugidae only. Study of syntypes of Solpuga nasuta Karsch, 1880 and Solpuga semifusca Pocock, 1898 shows that these nominal taxa are synonyms. The genus Solpugarda Roewer, 1934 is not valid. © 1977 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
