Alternatives for the use of rice husks as an energy source

Abstract

Fossil fuels are the largest energy source in the world and Colombia is not the exception to the rule, it is for this reason that this article aims to study alternatives to the use of rice husk as an energy source in Colombia. For this research, a review of scientific information has been taken from databases such as Scopus, Science Direct, Redalyc, among others, is carried out, as well as inquiries obtained from government reports, case studies in other countries and experimental analyzes, in order to achieve a review with truthful information that can lead to a general analysis of the use of alternative energies and their contribution to the energy matrix, to finally result in a detailed study of the potential use of rice husks in Colombia.
