Abstract

This article discusses scientific uncertainties in rhetorical properties for public engagement in public science communication Carson Scholars Program at the University of Arizona. Topics discussed include rhetorical engagement in science communication for making decision under uncertainty conditions, benefits and drawbacks of the program for rhetoric of science, technology, and medicine (RSTM) scholars and pragmatics of the program to train and engage students in science communication.
