Abstract

The article presents the scientific review of the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Committee on the correlation between eating and fatal or non-fatal events in swimming among children and adults. It investigates whether swimming one hour after eating is safe or not. It suggests that there is no evidence on the association between eating and swimming as well as drowning.
