Abstract

The pilot-scale experiment was based in year 2014 in terms of agricultural cooperative in Mojmirovce. The aim was to investigative the effect of different doses of sulphur on yield and oil content in seed of oilseed rape (Brassica napus, L.). Hybrid Artoga was used in this experiment. There were four treatments of fertilization with size 600 m(2) experimental plots in three replications, in this experiment. First treatment was unfertilized control treatment and other were fertilized by total dose of nitrogen 160 kg.ha(-1) and different doses of sulphur (15 kg.ha(-1), 40 kg.ha(-1) and 65 kg.ha(-1)) during different growth stages of vegetation. The lowest yield of rapeseed 1.35 tha-lwas noticed at unfertilized control treatment 1. Among treatments fertilized by sulphur, the lowest yield of rapeseed 2,53 tha(-1) was noticed at treatment 4 where 65 kg.ha-lS was applied and highest yield 2.69 tha(-1) was reached at treatment 3 where 40 kg.ha(-1) S was applied. The highest oil content 45.88 % was reached at treatment 4, where the highest dose of sulphur 65 kg.ha(-1) was applied. From results it follows that oil content of seeds of oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) is significantly affected by sulphur nutrition.
