Abstract

This prelude approaches the concept of sung verse and its immense possibilities of study from the most varied areas of interest. The focus is set, however, on the study of metrics and rhythm of this kind of artistic expression. The papers contained in this special issue are also introduced here, as an overview of the whole. © 2013 UNED.
