Abstract

The purpose of this French language text is to describe the main concepts related to deformable porous media subject to flow of one or several fluids. The subject matter is divided into the following areas: description of the deformation and kinematics of saturated porous media and mass conservation; momentum conservation and stress tensors; thermodynamics of open continuous media; linear thermoporoelastic behaviour; poroelastic behaviour; poroviscous behaviour; discontinuity surfaces; linearised problems of quasistatic evolution in thermoporoelasticity - direct solution methods and numerical solutions; and unsaturated porous media.
