Abstract

After an analysis of the relation hard skills vs soft skill, the topic of soft skills is deepened in its genesis. The thesis supported here is that soft skills are objectively linked with general popular cultur of which the high formative implication are highlighted, according to the neo-humanistic perspective of liberal education, outlined by Humbold, and brought back in the XX century by the German pedagogist Kerschensteiner and by our Salvemini, whose positions are discussed, at a theoretical level, on the nature of classical studies.   Soft skills e cultura generale.
