Abstract

[Purpose] To clarify the factors affecting work-life satisfaction levels of occupational therapists and physical therapists. [Participants and Methods] The subjects were 145 graduates of our school, 65 occupational therapists and 80 physical therapists, in their first to ninth years of employment. We surveyed their degree of satisfaction with occupational life (11 items) using a web questionnaire. [Results] Factors influencing the satisfaction of their overall work life were job satisfaction (standardized regression coefficient: 0.279), job content (0.275), education/skill development (0.210), human relations/communication (0.150), wages (0.149), and employment stability (0.119). [Conclusion] The results suggest that the factors implicated in self-growth and career are important.
