Abstract

This report presents novel parameters for evapotranspiration-mediated wastewater phytotreament. Leaf area capacity could be used to measure the water loss from phytotreatment tank. Relative effect concentration was a measure the reduction of leaf area capacity due to increasing COD level. Additional advantage of using the two parameters was to address the suitability of various types of wastewater in phytotreatment by means of COD equivalent. © 2007, Penkala Bt.
