Abstract

Basic concepts of the decision theory, theory of value and utility, multi-criteria optimization, game theory and methods of supporting negotiations that are essential for skillful construction of decision support systems. The author describes the methods of optimization applications in decision support that allow the decision maker or the user of the decision support system to maintain the maximum autonomy possible.
