Abstract

The article presents the discussion on firearm homicide rate in the US increasing nearly 35 percent from 2019 to 2020. Topics include examining all-cause homicide and suicide rates, firearm homicide, and suicide rates overall and by sex, age, race and ethnicity; and public health facilitating collaboration across sectors such as health, law enforcement, education, social services, and community organizations.
