Abstract

Seven new bis(naphtho-y-pyrone) derivatives, named ustilaginoidins D (8), E (9), F (10), G (11), H (12), I (13), and J (14), were isolated in addition to ustilaginoidins A (1), B (2), and C (3) from Claviceps virens. Their structures were elucidated chiefly on the basis of nuclear magnetic resonance data. © 1988, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
