Abstract
The central or nonlabyrinthine causes of vertigo are diverse and may present a considerable diagnostic and therapeutic challenge to the otologist, neurologist, or internist. To attempt to present a complete list of all the possible specific etiologies would be cumbersome, for they probably number between 50 and 100.
