Abstract

The effects of solar radiation pressure on the motion of an artificial satellite are obtained. The results include the effects produced by the intermittant acceleration which results from the eclipsing of the satellite by the earth. Vectorial methods have been utilized to obtain the nonlinear equations describing the motion and the method of Kryloff-Bogoliuboff has been applied in their solution.
