Abstract

"Dill Pickle", is the first interactive immersive theatre experience in virtual reality that uses volumetric capture. In the play, a volumetrically captured actor plays the character of Robert. The user interacts with Robert through utterances that are memorized or prompted with text or audio. The set was recreated through a process of photogrammetry.
