Abstract

After increasing steadily (even spectacularly) through this century, there are now marked regional variations in Kittiwake trends. Numbers have risen further in the North Sea, but have declined overall along the western seaboard. A link with food supply (fish stocks) is suggested. © 1983 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
