Abstract

Twenty-nine papers in the dilute solutions section of the IUPAC Conference on Chemical Thermodynamics are summarized and discussed in relation to other investigations, with references to appropriate publications. Opinions are expressed concerning various approaches to thermodynamics of dilute solutions, along with further opinions concerning desirable directions for further research in this area. © 1983 IUPAC.
