UPAYA MENGURANGI PENGGUNAAN PUPUK KIMIA MELALUI PENYULUHAN PENTINGNYA PENGGUNAAN PUPUK ORGANIK BAGI KELOMPOK WANITA TANI (KWT) MEKAR JAYA, TANGGAMUS

Abstract

Abstrak Selama ini, pupuk kimia (pupuk anorganik) digunakan sebagai bahan utama untuk meningkatkan hasil pertanian padahal banyak dampak negatif dari penggunaan pupuk kimia tersebut. Abstract So far, chemical fertilizers (inorganic fertilizers) have been used as the main ingredient to increase agricultural yields, even though there are many negative impacts from the use of chemical fertilizers. Therefore, the aim of this activity is to provide education to the Mekar Jaya Women Farmers Group (KWT), Tanggamus regarding the importance of using organic fertilizers as an effort to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. The activity was carried out on February 14, 2023 at the house of a member of KWT Mekar Jaya. The activity method is in the form of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and question and answer session. Previously, field observations and literature studies were carried out first. From the evaluation results, it can be seen that there has been a significant increase in their knowledge regarding the benefits of organic fertilizer and the risks of using chemical fertilizer. Participants actively participated in the FGDs, asked relevant questions, and showed enthusiasm to apply the new knowledge in their daily practice. Positive feedback from participants reflected their satisfaction with the clarity of the material, and they recognized the practical benefits of the knowledge gained during the counseling sessions.
