Abstract

Education in the era of this globalization moment required utilize development technology and information optimally in activity learning. Aim of this study is to produce interactive learning multimedia based on multiple representations on the materials acid-base solution. Method used is research and development (R&D) with the Four-D (4-D) model. This study restricted up to the development stage adapted from the Thiagarajan model. Instruments used consist of concept analysis, map concepts, flowcharts, storyboards, and media validation instruments and media testing instruments. Developed interactive learning multimedia consist of displays of start, main menu, manual, introduction, competence, material description, simulation, evaluation as well as accompanied by pictures and videos. Interactive learning multimedia could be run on android devices. Created interactive multimedia validated by media experts, material experts and limited tested to 10 high school students in class XI IPA. Validation test results obtain good value, in terms of media the percentage of validation results is 87.96%, while in terms of material the percentage of validation results is 92.30% and the limited test results get good value with the average percentage is 92.36%. So that multimedia learning interactive based on multiple representation on the materials acid-base solution feasible used in learning.
