Abstract

Las tecnologías vinculadas a la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) se han convertido en un tema ineludible en las sociedades contemporáneas, impactando en diversas áreas del tejido social. Este trabajo explora los posibles vínculos entre la Historia y la IA, analizando cómo estas tecnologías interpelan a la investigación, la comunicación pública y la enseñanza de la Historia. Si bien las reflexiones en torno a la relación entre los historiadores y las fuentes tuvieron distintos giros epistemológicos durante todo el siglo XX, el “giro digital” iniciado a comienzos de este siglo, y que se profundiza con la incorporación de la IA, obliga a repensar preguntas clásicas sobre cómo y qué es investigar y enseñar la Historia.Technologies related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) have become an inescapable theme in contemporary societies, impacting on various areas of the social fabric. This paper explores the possible links between History and AI, analysing how these technologies challenge research, public communication and the teaching of History. While reflections on the relationship between historians and sources took different epistemological turns throughout the twentieth century, the ‘digital turn’ that began at the beginning of this century, and which is deepening with the incorporation of AI, forces us to rethink classic questions about how and what it is to research and teach history.
