Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum ditemukan adanya penelitian lanjutan untuk mengukur besar pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar, sehingga peneliti melakukan penelitian studi meta-analisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besar pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap pembelajaran IPA disekolah Dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Metode dan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian meta analisis. Sepuluh data yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data effect size. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ternyata model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) memiliki besar pengaruh terhadap keseluruhan dengan rata-rata effect size 1,08 (kategori efek tinggi), effect size terhadap jenjang kelas sebesar 0,93 (kategori efek tinggi), media pembelajaran yang digunakan diperoleh rata-rata effect size sebesar 1,61 (kategori efek sangat tinggi), dan berdasarkan aspek variabel terikat rata-rata effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,83 (kategori efek sangat tinggi). Kata kunci: problem based learning, meta analisis Abstract This research is based on the absence of further research to measure the influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models on science learning in elementary schools, so the researchers conducted a meta-analysis study. This study aims to analyze the influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models on science learning in elementary schools. The approach used is quantitative. The method and form of research used is a descriptive quantitative method with the form of meta-analysis research. 10 data that meet inclusion criteria are analyzed using effect size data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model has a large influence on the overall with an average of effect size 1.08 (high effect category), effect size to class level of 0.93 (high effect category), learning media used obtained an average effect size of 1.61 (very high effect category), and based on aspects of variables bound to average effect size obtained by 0.83 (very high effect category).
