Abstrak-Dalam suatu kegiatan produksi adanya losses dapat mengurangi efektifitas penggunaan peralatan. Untuk mengetahui dan meminimumkan losses yang terjadi, diperlukan adanya evaluasi kinerja dari peralatan produksi. Mesin bubut merupakan salah satu peralatan produksi di perusahaan manufaktur parts yang akan dievaluasi efektifitasnya. Pengukuran efektifitas mesin bubut dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Dalam perhitungan, OEE mengukur efektifitas dengan menggunakan tiga sudut pandang untuk mengidentifikasi six big losses (enam kerugian), yaitu availability, performance dan quality. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat efektifitas mesin bubut selama masa penelitian adalah sebesar 77,28%, dengan rata-rata nilai availability 88,82%, performance 91,31% dan quality 95,45%. Sedangkan, losses yang signifikan mempengaruhi nilai efektifitas adalah equipment Failure atau Breakdown 58,7%, idling and minor stoppages 39,8% dan reduced speed 43,3%. Abstract-In a production activity losses can reduce the effectiveness of the use of equipment. To find out and minimize losses that occur, an evaluation of the performance of production equipment is needed. Lathes are one of the production equipment in parts manufacturing companies whose effectiveness will be evaluated. Measuring the effectiveness of lathes can be done using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness method. In calculations, OEE measures effectiveness by using three perspectives to identify six big losses, namely availability, performance and quality. The results showed that the average level of effectiveness of the lathe during the study period was 77.28%, with an average availability value of 88.82%, performance 91.31% and quality 95.45%. Whereas, losses that significantly affect the value of effectiveness are equipment Failure or Breakdown 58.7%, idling and minor stoppages 39.8% and reduced speed 43.3%. .
