Abstract

The major-element geochemical data suggest typical mid-ocean-ridge basalts. These, plus the trace elements Co, Ni and Cr, suggest the minerals plagioclase, olivine, pyroxene and spinel in order of decreasing abundance. The LREE are depleted and the variations suggest local mantle heterogeneity.-K.A.R.
