La ricerca qualitativa in psicoterapia. Controversie, applicazioni e "criteri di qualità"

Abstract

The qualitative research in psychotherapy has gained larger diffusion and credibility. Limits, potentialities, applications and future perspectives of psychotherapy qualitative research will be examined. Such issues will be examined also through the exploration of the traditional dichotomy in social sciences between quantitative methods and qualitative methods, both in their epistemological and methodological aspects. Finally, the "quality criteria" of qualitative psychotherapy research will be investigated in the attempt to make the field more systematic and to facilitate a common language for future research.
