Abstract
This paper discusses teaching an Operating Systems Course. Different approaches to teaching the course are presented. An operating systems course is one of the kernel courses in computer curriculum of both China and other countries. This course is of critical importance for students to understand the working procedures and principles of modern computer systems, to understand the methodology and approach of the design of system software, and to gain an appreciation for the requirements of other large-scale software projects. © 1989, ACM.
