Abstract

Introduction: Marriage and having children is a right of Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWID), but there are barriers preventing their access to this right. Objectives: The purpose of this study was reviewing five studies in Jordan, talk about sexual issues relative to the marriage and have children for (PWID) and protect them from sexual abuse. Methods: A literature reviewing for five studies In Jordan about sexual issues of (PWID). Results: All results of studies which were reviewed emphasized the Importance of teaching sex education topics for (PWID) at an early age. Conclusions: Teaching sex education topic for (PWID) help them to the marriage and having children and protect them self from sexual abuse.
