Digital government and modernization in peruvian public entities: a systematic review of the literature

Abstract

In the current context of the pandemic, the Digital Government model has been promoted by different States as a strategy to increase effectiveness and efficiency, facilitate certain operations, increase transparency, save time and investment depending on the Government to multiple users. Based on the importance that the Digital Government has for many countries, including Peru, it is to establish what aspects are taken, for the modernization of public institutions, for analysis and reflection. Based on this, the objective of this article is to analyze the variables and indicators assumed in the scientific literature in the period from 2018 to 2022 to measure the Electronic Government and modernization in public institutions. To identify the documents to be analyzed, a systematic review of the literature was carried out. It is concluded, based on the systematic review of the literature, that the relationship of the Digital Government, Public Entities and Modernization are closely linked. It is also evident that there is consensus in society, conceiving that ICTs are directly related to Digital Government and Modernization of Public Entities.
