Abstract

Pure titanium and titanium-based alloys were cast into molds of phosphate-bonded silica or magnesia investments using a new casting machine known as the “CASTMATIC”.The properties of the castings were much better using magnesia,rather than phosphate-bonded silica, investments. © 1982, The Japanese Society for Dental Materials and Devices.
