Abstract
A silane system modified with ultrafine TiO2 was developed for use as a transparent photocatalytic paint for steel construction. When a pretreatment is used, good corrosion resistance can be obtained. The applied coating shows high transparency and good photoactivity at a coating thickness of 2 μm.
