Abstract

Smart technology is important for the sustainable interior design to improves resource maintenance and operational efficiency with features like enhanced environmental control and automatic energy management; this study compares modern and traditional technique with differing degrees of technological innovation. The study shows the smart systems, including sensor-based energy management, adaptive shading, automated lighting, and smart HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, help lower energy use, improve interior environmental quality, and increase resource efficiency in interior design. In order to adapt the smart technology works well in the buildings in order to achieve sustainability objectives in interior zones, comparative case studies of residential, commercial, and educational buildings are assumed. To evaluate adaptations of the building in energy efficiency, comfort, and visual integrity among particular buildings, information is gathered via performance analysis, design documentation, and activity of the occupant input. The results shows that smart technology can adapted in the interior design to improve user experience and spatial flexibility in addition to increase energy performance (Efficiency). The study come up to the conclusion that integrating smart strategies to the future- ready structures of the building can provides a scalable path to the future to increase efficiency, beauty and occupant wellbeing all coexist harmoniously.
