Abstract

This paper describes gender-related behaviors in a colony of stumptail macaques observed over a 3-year period. Information about dominance positions, proximity preferences, sexual behaviors, aggression, social and solitary play, and social grooming of male and female monkeys at different ages is included. © 1988, Psychonomic Society, Inc..
