Abstract

Bio-sensing technologies with a wider range of spectrum observe the signal of the sensor with biomarkers, for example, DNA, proteins, antibodies, through the conformational changes obtained directly or indirectly. Papain a widely used proteolytic enzyme mostly used for breaking down of amino acids. Here, in this paper, we have observed the pH-dependent conformational changes of papain enzyme using SU-8 nanocantilevers as a sensing platform. The changes in the structure of the papain were confirmed through CD spectroscopy.
