Abstract

In the 1950s and 1960s, between the portuguese arrived in São Paulo distinguished a group of exiles, who sought to organize the antissalazarista resistance. This investigation intends a contribution to the study of women's protagonism in the actions and opposition struggles to Salazar, highlighting the actions of two women: Maria Archer and Arajaryr Campos. The research emphasized a variety of sources and references: the documentation DEOPS/SP (State Department of Political and Social Order), letters, diaries, memory books, interviews, press, prioritizing Portugal Democrático journal.
